We had scones with strawberry jam and chocolate cake. They were both very delicious. We sat at a table upstairs next to the window where could people watch while eating our desserts. It was a nice relaxing time after wandering around Bath. We stayed at the Francis Hotel, which is conveniently right across the street. We would go back there again.

Wonderful sandwich shop near the top of the centre of town just down from Queen Square. Gets very busy at lunch times as it's a very popular place with workers in the area and when you go you'll see why!! There is so much choice, the menu boards at the back are crammed full of options to go on your sandwich, baguette, wrap or baked potato!! They also sell a good range of naughty snacks such as shortbread and flapjacks and chocolate bars, and also drinks. Prices are ok, what you would expect to pay for lunch in Bath and you get a generous filling and interesting choices!!
